Shillong, Jun 16: Pay For Right Football Academy announced yesterday that Mefy Naki Nongrum has been selected for the AIFF FIFA Talent Academy.
The 15-year-old Mefy made her senior team debut in the 2025 Meghalaya Women’s State League and also featured in the Shillong Sports Association’s Women’s Football League 2025.
Her selection follows on from last month’s news that PFR’s Phibandamary Nongrum was signed by SESA Academy in Goa.
Mefy has been with PFR for four years, having joined at age 11, and has developed under head coach Jeffrey S Massar and Tyngshain Kharlyngdoh.
