Shillong, Feb 15: Thangsning SCC and Hurdles CC won their respective matches on the fourth day of the East Khasi Hills Cricket Association’s 2nd District League T20 Cricket Tournament 2023 today.
The first match saw Thynroit SCC win the toss, bat first and make 74/7 in 15 overs. Mandari Dkhar top-scored with 30 while Oristotle Nongkhlaw bagged 2/10.
In reply, Thangsning won the match in 13.4 overs for the loss of four wickets. Player of the Match Badap Pura Nongkhlaw made a brisk 27 from 25 deliveries while Mandari Dkhar took 2/20.
Later, Lumpaia Avengers CC won the toss and chose to bat first against Hurdles CC, eventually being bowled out for 110 in 17.5 overs. John Cliff Shabong struck 22 while Shimonto Hajong bowled a terrific spell to claim 4/17.
In reply, Hurdles chased down the target in 17 overs and for the loss of only three wickets. Arwanbiang Shangpliang starred with the bat, hitting 45 and he was named Player of the Match.
