Shillong, Aug 9: Lamlynti SC of Madanlyngkhi and Mawshbuit SC played out a 2-2 draw in Group D of the Shillong Sports Association Third Division 2024 at First Ground, Polo, here today.
Both sides held the lead of the game at different points in time but the match ended the same way it began – with the two clubs level.
Ksankupar Khongngain put Lamlynti in front in the 15th minute but a double fast couple of goals from Lurshai Wankhar (25′, 27′) turned the match on its head and gave Mawshbuit the lead.
However, Kyrmenskhem Nongbet (36′) netted the equaliser less than 10 minutes after Lurshai’s second and there were no further goals for the rest of the match.
The next match will take place on Monday at 12:45PM between Sanmer SC and Tynring SC in Group D.
