Shillong, Aug 14: The Shillong Premier League 2026 will restart on 18th August with Meghalaya Police taking on defending champions Langsning at the SSA Stadium. Kick-off will be at 4PM.

The remaining fixtures were released by the SPL on social media today.

Langsning won the season opener against Sawmer, while MLP squeezed out a draw against Rangdajied United.

Seven matches of the new season were played until the league was put on hold to accommodate the ongoing Durand Cup 2026, which features three SPL clubs – Shillong Lajong, Langsning and Nongkseh.

Langsning and Nongkseh are both out of the Durand Cup. Lajong are still in it but they field a different, more junior squad in the SPL.

Most of the remaining SPL matches have been scheduled to begin at 4PM, though there are a few big ticket games that will commence later in the evening.

The single leg league will end on 10th October. The Top 6 then qualify for the SSA Super Cup and the champions and runners-up of the SPL will also be eligible to participate in the SSA Champions Cup after that.
