Shillong, Sep 15: Sohryngkham edged Mawryngkneng 2-1 in the second semifinal of the Shillong Sports Association’s Second Division 2026 here today.
As a result, Sohryngkham will meet Mawpat in the final on Saturday. Both these two teams will also be promoted to next season’s First Division.
After a goalless hour, Sohryngkham scored first through Macheaven Nongbri (66′) before Mawryngkneng levelled with a 73rd minute own goal. Balatei Kharpran then scored the winner for Sohryngkham in the 90th minute.
The final will take place at 2:30PM.
