Shillong, Apr 4: Seventeen karatekas of the All Meghalaya Karate-Do Association, led by coach Mingson Rymbai and manager Glikerius Buhphang, will participate in the Karate Association of India’s Cadet, Junior & U-21 National Karate Championship, to be held at the Deshbhakta Tarum Ram Phookan Indoor Stadium in Guwahati from 5th to 7th April.
Gold medallists from this tournament will be selected to represent India in the upcoming Asian Karate Federation’s Cadet, Junior & U-21 Championship to be held in Malaysia later this month.
In addition to the karatekas and officials, Donboklang Lyngdoh, Arjun Sewa and Linza Fenny Syiem of Meghalaya have been appointed as technical officials to officiate in this Guwahati championship.
