Shillong, Feb 23: Six United advanced to the final of the Mawten Invitation Football Tournament by defeating Chiruplang 5-4 in a penalty shootout yesterday.
The score remained 0-0 right until the end of extra time, which took the game to a tiebreaker where Six United converted all of their attempts from the spot to win the match.
Batskhem Thangkhiew (pictured) of Six United won his second consecutive man-of-the-match award.
