Shillong, Dec 16: The fixtures for the first edition of the Meghalaya State League (MSL) have been released by the organisers, the Meghalaya Football Association.
The opening match will be held today at Kurkalang, Ri-Bhoi, between Shillong Premier League champions Langsning and Shilliang Umdoh at 2:30PM in Group B.
Although the tournament was supposed to have four groups of five teams each, it appears that one team has dropped out or has been dropped from Group B, which now has just four clubs. Shillong-based Rising FC were mentioned in MSL literature as a participating team but aren’t included in the fixtures. Why that is hasn’t been communicated, at least not with TSR.

16th Dec – Group B – Shilliang Umdoh vs Langsning, Kurkalang @ 2:30PM
18th Dec – Group A – Raliang vs Umlatkhur, Jowai @ 11:00AM
18th Dec – Group A – Niaw Wasa vs Umkiang, Jowai @ 2:00PM
18th Dec – Group B – Rangdajied United vs Pyndem Umbri, Kurkalang @ 2:00PM
18th Dec – Group C – Pyndengrei vs Tynrongmaw, Mairang @ 11:00AM
18th Dec – Group C – Mawten vs Madan Bynther, Mairang @ 2:00PM
18th Dec – Group D – Druma Sandruma vs A’tong Matgrik, Ampati @ 11:00AM
18th Dec – Group D – Warima vs Resu Conventus, Ampati @ 2:00PM
