Shillong, Feb 1: Marchstarfield Marbaniang, a midfielder, has joined the Jamshedpur FC reserve team that are taking part in the Second Division League.
The announcement was made by Jamshedpur at the end of last month, but only spotted by TSR yesterday.
Marbaniang can be spotted standing in the group photo almost directly under the chin of the bust of JRD Tata.

Marbaniang was one of seven young footballers that Jamshedpur took on last month in order to bolster their side. He is the only player from the North East among the seven.
As the reserve team of an Indian Super League club Jamshedpur will only participate in the group stage of the Second Division.
However, the team from Jharkhand aren’t doing very well. So far they’ve lost all four matches and are at the bottom of the six-team Group C.
Marbaniang played his first game in the 6-2 defeat at New Barrackpore Rainbow AC, where he came on in the 58th minute.
The midfielder has previously played for Rangdajied United (named in their U-19 I-League squad in 2014) and Shillong Lajong (named in their U-19 Shillong Premier League squad in 2014). He also played for Sawmer in the ongoing Rani Motors Knockout Football Tournament, scoring a goal for them in a pre-quarterfinal defeat at the end of November.
Jamshedpur will play their next match at Mohammedan Sporting on 24th February.
