Shillong, May 23: Nongrim Hills were on track for another point in the U-18 Shillong Premier League, but Rangdajied United snatched a goal with less than 10 minutes left on the clock to claim a 1-0 victory at Third Ground, Polo, here today.
This was Rangdajied’s second victory of the season, but today’s contest witnessed far fewer goals than their 7-0 triumph over Ryntih last week. Nongrim, meanwhile, tasted defeat after drawing their opener 2-2 with Mawkhar last week.
Rangdajied scored their lone goal today via Mebanrikupar Rynjah in the 82nd minute.
Tomorrow Lawsohtun are scheduled to take on Nongkrem at 3:45PM. Both sides are looking for their first win.
