Shillong, Jun 24: Mawphlang registered a 3-0 victory over Lumpyngngad in Group B of the Fourth Division at Second Ground, Polo, today.
This was the biggest margin of victory in Group B thus far and puts Mawphlang on four points, along with Green Age Club, Laitlulong and Rynjah.
B Nongbri (4’), F Lyngdoh (59’) and I Marbaniang (67’) were the scorers today.
Lumpyngngad have so far lost all three of their matches and are also yet to score a goal.
Tomorrow, in Group B, Laitlulong are scheduled to face Rynjah at 4PM.
