Shillong, Jun 27: Lawmei scored a last minute goal over Madanrting in their Group A Fourth Division match at Second Ground, Polo, today to take the contest 1-0.
After both sides battled it out for 69 minutes without scoring, G Malieh turned in a goal in the 70th and last minute to give Lawmei victory.
This was Lawmei’s second victory and they now have seven points from four matches, tied with Diliengiem but ahead on both head-to-head and goal difference
Tomorrow, in Group B, Green Age Club are scheduled to take on Mawphlang at 4PM. Both sides have four points, but Mawphlang have played an extra match.
