Shillong, Feb 28: The Meghalaya 3×3 Basketball Challenge 2021 will be held across four districts in the state next month.
The tournament, organised by Touchline NE in collaboration with the Meghalaya AIDS Control Society, is affiliated to the Meghalaya Basketball Association.
Men’s and women’s teams are invited to take part. Limited slots are available. Champions will receive Rs 10,000 and runners-up Rs 4,000.
Jowai will hold its event on 3rd March. Entry forms are available with the West Jaintia District Sports Association.
The tournament in Nongstoin will be held on 6th March. Entry forms are available with the Basketball Association of West Khasi Hills District.
Shillong (13th March) and Nongpoh (date to be announced) will also have their own tournaments.
There will also be free development clinics for referees, coaches and players on the day prior to the tournament at the various venues. Those interested should get in touch with their respective district associations.
