Shillong, Oct 26: Iatyllilang SC became the second team to reach the semifinals of the Shillong Sports Association’s U-20 Fourth Division after defeated Mawpdang SC 1-0 at First Ground, Polo, today.
The second semifinal scoreline was thus exactly the same as the first, which was played yesterday.
Iatyllibor Mynsong scored the only goal of today’s game in the 30th minute.
The two teams got to this stage after Mawpdang topped Group C, while Iatyllilang were second in Group A.
It has been a good comeback from Iatyllilang, who have won six matches in a row now after losing their opening two.
Tomorrow, it’ll be Mawkriah West SC versus Mawkasiang SC. Mawkriah West had finished first in Group D, while Mawkasiang were second in Group B. The match will kick-off at 2PM at the same venue.
