Shillong, Dec 19: Syed Nishat Fatima, who is the BCCI-approved coach of the Meghalaya U-19 women’s team, has passed a coaching qualification test and qualified for Level 2.
Fatima is of the Bihar Cricket Association and she attended the New Hybrid Level 1 Coaches Course (Group B, Batch 2) in July online and the onsite assessment in November, organised by the National Cricket Academy, Bangalore.
She scored 74, which is not only a pass mark but enough to make her eligible to pursue a Level 2 coaching qualification (only those with 70 percent or higher are eligible). Fatima’s score was the second-highest of her batch.
Fatima was the coach of this season’s Meghalaya team that took part in the U-19 Women’s T20 Trophy and U-19 Women’s One Day Trophy.
