Shillong, Jul 19: Pynthorbah SC registered a 2-0 victory over Mawklot SC in Group C of the Shillong Sports Association’s U-20 Fourth Division at Third Ground, Polo, here today.
In the first match of the day, Mawpdang SC and Lummawbah SC played out a 2-2 draw, also in Group C.
Lummawbah twice took the lead in the match, scoring via Ferback Dohtdong (12′) and Keven Cooper Royne (47′) but each time Mawpdang were able to restore parity thanks to a brace by Garrywell Syiem (26′, 70′).
In the other fixture, Juvier Kharkongor (29′) and Lucky Warjri (58′) scored in Pynthorbah’s win.
