Shillong, Oct 15: Meghalaya registered a second consecutive big win in Pool D of the U-17 boys’ Subroto Cup in New Delhi today by trouncing Navy School 9-0.
Meghalaya are being represented at the tournament by Assam Rifles Public School.
Fresh from their 14-0 win yesterday, Meghalaya ran riot with Phermanbha Lyngdoh scoring his second hat-trick in two days.
On top of his three goals were two goals for Milli Putum and individual strikes for Rodrygo Sympli, Iminstar Mawlong, Siamvangliana and Jason Malsawmtluanga.
Meghalaya will take on Tamil Nadu next on Tuesday.
