Shillong, Dec 5: Two Meghalayans won the 52km race at the Run for the Rhino ultra marathon in Kaziranga, Assam, on Sunday.
There were runners from 17 states as well as those from Japan and Bangladesh.
From Meghalaya, Darishisha Iangjuh won the 52km race, with Rephica Becky Pde coming in fourth.
Tlanding Wahlang won the men’s event, with Ranbokstar Wanniang fourth as well.
There were other runners from the state who took part in the 10km and 26km events as well.
