Shillong, Dec 16: Pohkseh SC were supreme in the first semifinal of the Shillong Sports Association’s Second Division 2023, beating Sohryngkham SC 3-0 at First Ground, Polo, here today.
Progression to the final also means that Pohkseh will be promoted to next season’s First Division.
Pohkseh scored today via Freddy Jyrwa (44′) and Wanjop Khriam (74′, 90’+2).
They are the only club to have been unbeaten throughout the group stage this year and qualified at the top of Group B. Sohryngkham, meanwhile, had finished in second place in Group A.
The second semi will take place on Monday from 1:45PM between Mawtawar SC and Nongrah SC at First Ground.
