Shillong, Mar 24: A nine-member all-women team from Meghalaya participated in the Run for Nari Shakti (Women Power) Women’s Empowerment Run in Guwahati yesterday.
This is the only exclusive to women half marathon in the North East.
In the 21km half marathon race, Darishisha Iangjuh took third place. A 5km race was also held in which Nangkiew Slong finished second.
