Shillong, Feb 10: Shavian Blah struck an incredible 121 from just 51 deliveries to set up victory for Cricket Lovers by 181 runs over Laitkynsew CC in the 4th District League T20 Cricket Tournament 2024, organised by the East Khasi Hills Cricket Association, in Sohra today.
Cricket Lovers won the toss and chose to bat first and, riding on Shavian’s ton but with plenty of other contributions too, amassed 275/6 in 20 overs, which is 13.75 runs per over. Although expensive, Kesper Malngiang took 2/47 in 3 overs.
In reply, Laitkyndew were bowled out for 94 in 19.4 overs. Here, Kesper struck 38 from 47 balls while Raj Kishor Yadav claimed three wickets for just one run (3/1) in 2 overs.
Shavian (pictured) was expectedly named Player of the Match.
