Shillong, Mar 18: Rangkynsai CC defeated Raj Bhavan by 153 runs in their Group B match of the Shillong Cricket League Super Division 2024-25 here today.
Rangkynsai won the toss and batted first, posting 311 all out in 45 overs, with Kishan Lyngdoh leading the way with 79 from 71 deliveries. Pynhunlang Kharnabi also struck a half-century, finishing on 58 from 56 balls. Rohit Ram claimed 3/59 in 9 overs.
In reply, Raj Bhavan were all out for just 158 in 33.4 overs. Aditya Shah (49 from 46) fell just short of a fifty and there were few other batters to get among the runs. Adarsh Joshi bowled 9 overs for 3/22, while Ram Gurung took 2/19 in 9.
Adarsh (pictured left), who also contributed 34 with the bat, was named Player of the Match.
