Shillong, Jun 30: The Meghalaya Rugby Association (MRA) has launched an ‘expression of interest campaign’ to identify individuals interested in learning and playing the contact sport.

The campaign is open to school and college students, sportspersons, working
professionals and members of the general public, the MRA said in a release on Tuesday.

Interested individuals may register by filling in the Google form linked to here.

The responses received will help the association assess the level of public interest
and plan future rugby training sessions and promotional activities.

The MRA was founded in 2025. Sujit Dey is its President and he is supported by three Vice-Presidents (D Lamare, DK Prasad, B Singh), a General Secretary (M Singh), Joint Secretary (Q Lamare), Treasurer (CR Marak) and Publicity Secretary (M Chettri).
