Shillong, Sep 21: Sutnga SSCC defeated defending champions Rymbai Shkenshynriah SC 3-0 in the East Jaintia Hills District Football Association’s Super Division 2026 in Khliehriat today.
Meanwhile, in the First Division, Jalyiah United SC drew 1-1 with Ladrymbai B SC.
Bishnu Bordoloi (44′) scored late in the first half for Ladrymbai B before Rimiki Phawa equalised for Jalyiah Utd in the 78th minute of the Pool A match.
Later, Sutnga scored via Kamkhosat Hoikip (61′), Premio Muksor (73′) and a Shkenshynriah own goal in the 76th minute.
This was the second straight loss for Shkenshynriah – they were defeated by the same margin by Shilliang Umshong SC on 16th September.
