Shillong, Jan 27: Pohkseh defeated Mawryngkneng 2-0 in Group A of the Shillong Sports Association’s Second Division at Third Ground, Polo, here today.
Nikodimus Lyngkhei (14′) and Max Austin Wanswett (86′) bookended the match to give Pohkseh their first win after losing their first fixture to Marbisu.
This was Mawryngkneng’s first actual game of the season after their scheduled opener last week, against Jongksha, was postponed because of bad weather.
