Shillong, Dec 21: There were some massive victories for teams across Groups A, C and D in the Meghalaya State League on Thursday, with the big news being that Malki suffered a heavy 5-0 defeat at the hands of Tynrongmawsaw in Mairang.

The Group C match saw goals scored by Silvestar Thongni (2nd minute), Jovian Lyngdoh Marshillong (16th), Wiles Lygkhoi (47th, 85th) and one own goal by a Malki player to put Tynrongmawsaw at the top of the group with six points.

In the earlier match Mawten and Pyndengrei played out a goalless draw.

Druma Sandruma’s match against Warima in Ampati was the most one-sided, however, with the former scoring a perfect 10 goals to Warima’s zero. This was Druma Sandruma’s third victory and they are on top of Group D with nine points. Ampati SC, meanwhile, picked up their first points with a 2-0 victory over Resu Conventus.
