Shillong, Jul 6: Lawmali Pyllun, Gorkha Association and Mawreng all won their respective Third Division Group D matches at Second Ground, Polo, today.
In the first match Lawmali Pyllun got their campaign off to a winning start, beating Nongmynsong 2-0 with goals from T Wanniang (27′) and L Nongkynrih (29′).
Gorkha Association then finished as 1-0 victors over Sanmer in the second match, where V Sharma scored the winner in the 65th minute.
1-0 was also the result in the Mawreng-Mawkriah West match, with Mawreng’s C Nongbri scoring in the 39th minute.
