Shillong, Jul 15: Three matches were held in Group C of the Third Division at Second Ground, Polo, today.
The first match saw a goalless draw played out between Laitlyngkot and Lapalang. This was only the second game across all four groups without a goal scored.
The second fixture saw Lumparing overturn a one-goal deficit to defeat Umlyngka 2-1. Umlyngka had taken the lead in the seventh minute through E Jyrwa, but Lumparing struck back thanks to a brace from K Nongkhlaw (35′, 63′) to claim a full three points.
The final game saw Mawpat beat Kharang 2-0 with goals from N Kharlukhi (22′) and R Kharsohnoh (56′).
Lumparing, Mawpat and Laitlyngkot all have four points at the top of Group C after two rounds.
