Shillong, Feb 18: Meghalaya were bundled out for just 108 on the first day of their U-23 men’s Col CK Nayudu Trophy Plate Group final against Nagaland today.

Meghalaya won the toss in Sovima, Nagaland, and batted first after a delay in the start of play due to prevailing ground conditions.

Mrityunjay Bharali put in one of his best performances with the bat this season to make 43 from 96 balls at the top of the order but no other batter managed to get into the twenties.

In response, the hosts were 50/1 at stumps.

The innings actually started wonderfully for Meghalaya as Abhishek Kumar bowled Zipa Pohena with the very first delivery but Nagaland gathered themselves well to hold on till stumps without further loss.
