Shillong, Jul 17: The round-robin stage of the U-18 Shillong Premier League came to a close today with Nangkiew Irat beating Nongrim Hills 2-1 at the JN Stadium here.
This match was originally scheduled for 9th July, but was abandoned due to bad weather.
Shano Tariang scored a brace of goals for Nangkiew in the 42nd and 55th minutes before Phibankhrawbok Nongkhlaw pulled a goal back in the 69th for Nongrim.
Nangkiew finish with 19 points and are in fifth place, while Nongrim end on 15 points in sixth.
