Shillong, Sep 12: Meghalaya, represented by H Elias Higher Secondary School, reached the quarterfinal of the U-17 boys’ Subroto Cup with a 4-1 victory over Railways in New Delhi today.
Ioanis Suchen scored a brace, with Meghalaya’s other goals coming from Glennys Lynrah and Jefferson Kharbuli.
Meghalaya have thus reached the last-eight with a perfect record of four wins in four games. Today’s goal for Railways was the only one Meghalaya have conceded so far.
