Shillong, Dec 12: Kith United defeated Laitkyrhong 3-2 in the third match of the Laitkseh Premier Football Tournament, organised by Laitkseh SC, yesterday.
Jovian L Marshillong (19′), Pynbhalang Suting (68′) and Kyntiew Myrthong (78′) gave Kith United a 3-0 lead before Laitkyrhong replied with two goals of their own through Iohborlang Nonglyer (87′) and Banribok Rynjah (90′), though they couldn’t get another to make the match even more interesting.
Suting was named man-of-the-match.
In the previous two fixtures Assam Regimental Centre defeated Galaxy FC 2-0 on 3rd December, while YBSC Shella pipped Meghalaya Police 6-5 on penalties after full time had ended 1-1 in the opening match on 25th November.
