Shillong, Mar 9: Defending champions Ryntih defeated Shillong Lajong 2-0 in their Laitkseh Premier Football Tournament match today.
Both goals came in the first half and were scored by Manbha Iawphniaw (30′) and Robert Khongjoh (40′). Dameki Khongstia was adjudged man-of-the-match.
This was a postponed first round clash that had to be pushed back from 13th January due to unavoidable circumstances.
