Shillong, Mar 17: Meghalaya runners swept the board in the 21km and 42km events at the Guwahati City Marathon on Sunday.
In the women’s category Darishisha Iangjuh won the 21km race, while Snora Lyngkhoi (pictured centre) finished first in the 42km event.
The men’s category saw Kresstarjune Pathaw and Batsrang Sangma win the 21km and 42km races respectively. Meanwhile, Jomingstar Ramsiej finished second to Pathaw and Dondor Kharbithai came third in the 42km event.
Around 200 runners took part in the Guwahati City Marathon, the organisers said. The timing information, however, was not revealed.
