Shillong, Jan 16: Smit SC defeated Umphyrnai SC 4-1 in the final of the (L) Arphinstone Marbaniang Memorial Football Tournament 2022 yesterday.
The match was held at the Mawpynthih Football Ground.
The tournament was organised by the Mylliem Lum Sports Association and Greater Nongkrem Area Youth Welfare and Development Organisation.
As champions, Smit were awarded Rs 20,000. The runners-up took home Rs 10,000.
