Shillong, Jan 19: The sudden, heavy hailstorm that struck Shillong today forced the cancellation of the Mawryngkneng versus Jongksha match in Group A of the Shillong Sports Association’s Second Division today.
Third Ground turned white with a blanket of hailstones that refused to melt even more than two hours after the scheduled start of the match.
The fixture will be played at a later date to be intimated by the SSA.
