Shillong, Feb 11: Laitkyrhong and Umphrup’s match in Group B of the Shillong Sports Association’s Second Division at Third Ground, Polo, here today ended in a 0-0 draw.
This was the fourth draw in a row and the third out of four that was goalless.
As a result, Umphrup move to 6 points, clear of Sohiong and Laitkor (who both have 5 points) and just 1 point behind Nongkrem. However, Umphrup have played an extra match compared to the other three sides.
Laitkyrhong, meanwhile, now have 2 points but are still in fifth place in the six-team group. Only Wahingdoh (0 points) are below them.
