Shillong, Mar 30: Nongrim Hills began their campaign in the Shillong Sports Association’s First Division with a 1-0 victory at Third Ground, Polo, here today.
A regular feature of the First Division, neither being promoted nor relegated, Imson put up a good show but it was Nongrim Hills, back from one Shillong Premier League season, who scored the lone goal through Mebanshan Suting in the 53rd minute.
Every team has now played one match except for Sawmer, who will be involved tomorrow.
