Shillong, Jul 20: Meghalaya qualified for the semifinals of the North East Women’s Football League in Imphal today after defeating Nagaland 2-0.
The goals were scored by Rushia Dkhar and Nisillia Majaw, the Meghalaya Football Association informed.
Yesterday Meghalaya lost to Manipur 1-0 in their penultimate match of the round-robin stage.
The semifinals will be held on Friday. We’re not sure yet who Meghalaya will be playing in the last-four.
