Shillong, May 2: The Shillong Sports Association Stadium at First Ground, Polo, here will host the two home games of Shillong Lajong in the final round of the All India Football Federation’s Second Division League.
An official of the club informed TSR yesterday of the move from Third Ground, which was the venue for Lajong’s group stage matches.
First Ground has a new artificial pitch and this will be the first competitive football played at the stadium in more than three years.
The first of Lajong’s final round matches will be on 6th May against United SC of Kolkata.
Each of the five clubs will play two home games and two on the road in a single leg round robin format. The top two teams will then be promoted to the I-League next season and Lajong are keen to see as many fans at the ground come match day to cheer the boys to victory.

AWAY vs Delhi FC, 11th May
AWAY vs Ambernath United, 16th May
HOME vs FC Bengaluru United, 21st May
