Shillong, Aug 4: These are the results of the Second Division League 2023 football tournament, organised by the Pyndengumiong District Sports Association of Eastern West Khasi Hills, at Madan Dommawlum today.
Mawphanniew SC defeated Rahjingshai SC 3-1 in the first match of the day, with Kampulstar Ryntathiang (25′), Habildar Rani (33′) and Tarmius Rani (64′) scoring for the victors, while Famoustar M Syiemlieh (54′) netted one for Rahjingshai.
In the second match, Kynshi Mawria SC celebrated a big 6-1 victory over Jakhong SC. Each of Kynshi Mawria’s goals was scored by a different player – Esheldonald Syiemlieh (2′), Benjolis Syiemlieh (10′), Davidson Iawphniaw (38′), Mebanker Iawphniaw (56′), Shemphangkupar Syiemlieh (58′) and Fastar Sohshang (68′).
Jakhong then scored after all these through Kestarlin L Marshillong (75′).
