Shillong, Aug 16: Ummulong SC edged Phlongingkhaw SC 4-3 in a penalty shootout to move to the quarterfinal round of the 7th Invitation Wahiajer Football Tournament 2023 at Wahiajer Stadium yesterday.
Normal time ended 0-0, which necessitated the tiebreaker.
Ummulong’s Arkini Laloo was adjudged Player of the Match.
The next game will be played on 19th August between Mawmang SC and Iongshiwiat FC at 3PM.
