Shillong, Oct 17: Mawpat SC, Mylliem Lum SC and PFR Academy won their respective matches in the Shillong Sports Association’s Third Division at First Ground, Polo, here today.
In the first of two Group C matches, Mawpat’s Batip Bamon (27′, 47′) scored on either side of Sanmer SC’s Banshan Dhar (34′) in a 2-1 win.
Later, Mylliem Lum heavily defeated Lumparing SC 4-1. Eliastar Nongsiej scored his second consecutive hat-trick, finding the back of the net in the 25th, 39th and 64th minutes, which followed on from his treble against Umpling SC last week. Lesterwell Khriem (10′) scored the other goal today, while Gillbert Nongneng (41′) pulled one back for Lumparing.
Lastly, in Group B, PFR blanked Mawryngkneng SC 2-0 with strikes by Adelbert Khongshun (10′) and Thymmaibor Mukhim (71′).
