Shillong, Oct 31: Kharang SC won the first semifinal of the Shillong Sports Association’s U-20 Fourth Division 1-0 against Lamlynti FC of Madanlyngkhi at First Ground, Polo, here today.
Alan Marwein provided the sole goal of the day in the 77th minute. This was his first goal for Kharang all season.
Kharang are not big scorers, having only produced nine goals in their last seven games.
Tomorrow will see a team that has scored even fewer, Mawkriah West SC (five goals in seven games), who will take on Iatyllilang SC in the second semifinal. That match will kick-off at 2PM at First Ground.
