Shillong, Jul 1: Umrynjah SC pulled off a 6-0 win against Mawreng SC in Group A of the Shillong Sports Association’s U-20 Fourth Division 2024 at Polo here today.
In Group F, Lummawbah SC drew 1-1 with Mawkasiang SC. There was another match scheduled for today, between Madanrting SC and Lumpyngngad SC in Group A, but this one had to be postponed, the SSA informed.
At First Ground, Donald Suting put Mawkasiang in front in the 17th minute before Andreve Maring equalised in the 58th for Lummawbah.
At the same time, but over at Third Ground, Umrynjah went 4-0 up by half time in the 70-minute match against Mawreng, with two more goals in the second half.
Wanborlang L Nongbri (11′, 51′) and Damiatlang Rumnong (20′, 23′) scored a brace each, while Jeremaiah Rani (26′) and Bashemphang Nongkhlaw (58′) also got their names on the scoresheet.
