Shillong, Aug 8: The Meghalaya Sport Climbing & Mountaineering Association will conduct a state level awareness programme on sport climbing and adventure activities on 21st and 22nd August.
The venue will be the climbing wall at 58 Gorkha Training Centre in Happy Valley.
The programme is open to boys and girls between 12 and 15 years old.
This initiative is aimed at generating awareness and promoting interest in sport climbing among the talented youth of Meghalaya, MeSCMA said in a press release. “Through this program, MeSCMA seeks to encourage young individuals to explore the exciting world of sport climbing and adventure sports,” it added.
Those interested should register before 5PM on 12th August.
