Shillong, Nov 14: Sutnga SSCC beat Dhana CSC 2-1 today with a last minute penalty to extend their lead at the top of the standings in the East Jaintia Hills District Football Association’s Super Division 2025.
Sauni Phawa (13′) scored first in Khliehriat before Micheal Siangshai (23′) equalised 10 minutes later for Dhana.
However, a foul by a Dhana player led to a penalty and the reliable Niphonghi Sumer (90’P) converted the spot kick.
Earlier, it was goalless throughout between bottom side Ladrymbai B SC and second-placed Rymbai Shkenshynriah SC.
Sutnga now have 15 points after six rounds, with R Shkhenshynriah trailing on 12. Dhana stay seven with 3 while Ladrymbai now have 2 points.
