Shillong, Feb 2: A contingent of 26 kickboxers and officials of the Meghalaya State Kickboxing Association left for New Delhi today morning to take part in the 5th India Open International Kickboxing Tournament to be held in the national capital from 4th to 8th February.

The Team included international athletes Daniella IW Mylliemngap, Medariphyla Lyngdoh Nongbri along with Babit Kharsahnoh and Belldona Pakyntein.

The MSKA team includes nine female kickboxers, 14 males, coaches Khrawjutang M Kharsyntiew and Fourwell Khongmalai and official Lorenzo Pearson Warjri, the Honorary MSKA Working President and Executive Member of the WAKO India Kickboxing Federation.

During a warm send-off, Shaiborlang Lyngdoh Mawphlang, President of the Meghalaya State Paralympics Association and General Secretary of the Blind Football Association, encouraged the kickboxers to do well and add to the 257 medals that MSKA kickboxers have won for the state over the years.
