Shillong, Mar 17: Big FM’s 2nd Big Futsal Fest 2026 began today with four matches of fun small-sided action.
The tournament was officially inaugurated by chief guest Samuel Shadap, a retired professional footballer who has represented top clubs in the Indian Super League and I-League.
In the first match of the day S10 Healthcare Solutions dominated KHADC, winning 5-1 with Gabriel Blah scoring four goals.
Then, Banalari Motors secured a comfortable 4-0 win over Chicken Wagon. Tourism FT delivered a commanding performance against NEEPCO, outplaying them with style and authority, as Ronnie Ferdinand Suting stole the spotlight with a hat trick to win 5-1.
In the final game of the day, 2024’s runners-up, Meghalaya Secretariat Home Guards, cruised to a comfortable 5–0 victory over Meghalaya Basin Development Authority, with the tournament’s first-edition top scorer, Fivestar Shylla, once again shining brightly with a well-taken brace.
