Shillong, Aug 16: Goodwill FC Mupliang lifted the Independence Day Cup 2026 for U-15 boys by defeating Moodymmai SC 2-0 in the final yesterday.
The tournament was organised by the Thadlaskein Sports Association.
Both goals in the final were scored by Da-o-ni Rymbai (15′, 41′). With a total of four goals, he was awarded the Top Scorer prize at the closing ceremony.
Two more individual awards were also handed out – Bantei Dkhar was named Best Goalkeeper and Agnes Rymbai the Best Player. Both were from Goodwill.
